Oil-soluble temporary plugging agent

Characteristics and applications:

Oil-soluble temporary plugging agent is an organic compound (oil-soluble resin) that is insoluble in water and acid but can dissolve in oil. It has the characteristics of high compressive strength and temporary plugging efficiency. The plugging agent can adjust the softening point according to the requirements of the formation temperature and adjust its particle size distribution according to the reservoir properties to meet the temporary plugging requirements under different conditions of sandstone reservoirs. It can also be used as a temporary plugging agent in the matrix acidizing of carbonate reservoirs, but can be used as a filter reducing agent to reduce acid leakoff in acidizing process. Oil-soluble temporary plugging agent is mainly used to plug high-permeability layers in acidizing operations to achieve uniform acid injection. It can also plug pores and microcracks during acid fracturing to reduce acid leakoff and improve acidizing efficiency.

Note: The conditions for oil solubility and compressive strength are oil-to-solid ratio of 10 (diesel) and acid-to-solid ratio of 0.5 (10% hydrochloric acid).

Recommended dosage:

This product can be directly injected into acid and stirred evenly during acidizing. It can also be formulated into a water-soluble solution and injected in stages. The specific design and determination should be based on the requirements of the acidizing process.

Product packaging:

Packed in 50kg plastic drums. Other specifications can be agreed upon in the contract. 

Transportation and storage:

Store in a cool, ventilated place with a shelf life of two years. Transport as a regular chemical.
