Characteristics and applications
Acidizing is an important production and stimulation measure for oil and gas reservoirs. Compared with conventional acidizing, foam acid has a series of advantages, such as high viscosity, low filtration loss, low frictional resistance in the tubing, strong corrosion inhibition, long acid corrosion distance, minimal damage to the reservoir, easy backflow after acidizing, and strong ability to carry insoluble acid. Therefore, foam acidizing is a very suitable and highly effective production enhancement measure. Foam acidizing foaming agent is a composite surfactant product. It has strong foaming ability, good foam stability, no special odor, and appears as a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid.
