Features and Applications

Acidization is an important measure for production and enhanced oil recovery in carbonate oil and gas reservoirs. Many carbonate rocks often contain gypsum layers. During the process of acidizing with hydrochloric acid, gypsum dissolves in the acid. After the reaction between the acid and the rock, due to the decrease in H+ concentration and the same ion effect of generating Ca²+, the dissolved gypsum will precipitate again, blocking the channels and pores, reducing the permeability of the formation, and seriously affecting the acidization effect. In order to improve the effect of acidizing gypsum-bearing reservoirs, a certain amount of gypsum stabilizer is added to the acid solution in advance, which can significantly reduce the dissolution of gypsum to prevent its re-precipitation. It is a gypsum stabilizer with stable performance and convenient use. It can be compatible with various types of acid additives currently used for acidizing gypsum-bearing formations.

Compatibility

It can be well compatible with existing acid gelling agents, acid corrosion inhibitors, iron ion stabilizers, and defoamers. If additional chemical additives are needed during construction, compatibility tests should be conducted before use.

Recommended dosage

The recommended dosage in conventional acid solutions is 5.0% - 10.0%. When in use, it can be directly added to the acid solution and circulated evenly.

Product packaging

The product is packaged in iron drums, with a net weight of 200.0kg.Other specifications can be agreed upon in the contract.

Transportation and storage

Handle with care during transportation and store in a cool and dry place. The storage period is one year. After long-term storage, there may be some suspended matter, which can be used after shaking well.
